If your question is not answered here, please contact me, and I will get back to you as soon as possible

What medications do you prescribe?

We prescribe Wegovy and Zepbound for patients who’s insurance covers them. If your insurance does not cover (or adequately cover them) we can prescribe semaglutide or tirzepatide through a compounding pharmacy. Semaglutide and tirzepatide are the active ingredients in Wegovy and Zepbound respectively. Learn more about how we work with compounding pharmacies here.

What are the side effects of the medication?

The most common side effects are nausea and constipation. Less common side effects are headache, diarrhea, belching, abdominal pain, dizziness, abdominal bloating, fatigue, indigestion, flatulence, gastritis, hair loss. Rare, more serious side effects can be discussed at your initial consultation.

Do you take insurance?

No. We do not accept any forms of insurance for our services, but patients who do have insurance coverage for the medications do have options to be served through our programs.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards and HSA.

Who should not take this medication?

If you or a family member has had medullary thyroid carcinoma, or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia, you should not take this medication. If you are pregnant, or planning on becoming pregnant in the next 6 months you should not take this medication. You should not take this medication if you are breastfeeding.

What results can I expect to see?

We aim for 1-2 lbs of weight loss per week. Some people will lose weight more quickly, and some more slowly. Your dose will be adjusted to this goal. Average users attain a 17% weight reduction, and some lose up to 22%.

How much does the program cost?

Initial consultation costs $199 plus medication costs. The medication costs $350 per month for semaglutide (the active ingredient in Wegovy and Ozempic), or $550 per month for tirzepatide* (the active ingredient in Mounjaro and Zepbound). The cost includes the medication, supplies, and shipping. Once your goal weight is achieved, your plan will be adjusted and your cost may decrease. When considering cost, make sure to factor in that people who carry excess weight spend 10x as much on their health than healthy weight individuals. *If higher doses of tirzepatide are required, there will be additional cost. Your provider can discuss this with you at your initial visit.
